Amanda Brugel

(February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a secluded community in that part of the island of Montreal known as the West Island. It is a part of the island that has been called "the West Island." West Island has a lot of communities. People who have never been aware of it frequently think it is a separate island facing west. The West Island is frequently referred to as being the place of birth for Amanda Brugel but while that may be true, her time there was short. Brugel grew up in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. In her early years, she wanted to be the next big thing in her career, but a sudden growth spurt made it impossible. An article in the Toronto Star article revealed she's 6 feet 1 inch tall and has heels. When I surpassed any male partner then I slowed down. A lot of dancers go from dancing into acting. As for Brugel, it was her drama teacher who nudged her in that direction. Her teacher invited her to audition for a part in a school production. After trying out the role, she was chosen as the main character in Anne of Green Gables. After receiving the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she attended York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. Over the past 20 years, the roles played by Brugel in the world of television and on the screen have been varied. Her role as Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most famous. Brugel was the character Rita in the Handmaid's Tale the series filming over 10 years ago.
